Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pi-automate, a B2B workflow automation platform for Google Ads, operated by pi-optimal UG (haftungsbeschränkt), located in Reutlingen, Germany.

Important: pi-automate is experimental AI-powered software in beta. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept the significant risks associated with automated changes to your Google Ads accounts.

1. Service Description

pi-automate is a B2B workflow automation platform that uses AI/LLM technology to help you create and manage workflows for your Google Ads accounts using natural language instructions.

Operation Modes

• Co-Pilot Mode (Default): AI-generated suggestions require your manual approval before any changes are executed in your Google Ads account.
• Autopilot Mode (Highly Experimental): Fully automated execution with no human review step. This mode is strongly discouraged and should only be used with extreme caution.

2. Eligibility

To use pi-automate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have legal authority over the Google Ads accounts you connect
• Be a business user (not a consumer) under applicable law
• Comply with Google Ads policies and terms of service

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of pi-automate, you are responsible for:

• Reviewing and approving all AI-generated suggestions in Co-Pilot mode
• Exercising professional judgment when using automation features
• Maintaining compliance with Google Ads policies
• Ensuring you have proper authorization for all connected accounts
• Monitoring the results of automated actions

Agency Responsibilities

If you are an agency connecting client accounts, you must obtain proper client authorization before connecting their accounts and inform clients about data processing through pi-automate.

4. Important Disclaimers

pi-automate is a tool that executes your instructions. All decisions about your advertising strategy remain your responsibility.

5. Pricing & Billing

Free Pilot Program: pi-automate is currently free during the pilot phase.

We plan to transition to a pay-per-use model in the future. You will receive at least 30 days' notice before any pricing changes take effect.

6. Limitation of Liability

Under German law, our liability is limited as follows:

• Unlimited Liability: For intentional acts and gross negligence
• Excluded Liability: For indirect damages, lost profits, and errors in AI-generated content

You acknowledge that AI systems can make errors and that you bear responsibility for reviewing and approving all automated actions.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless pi-optimal UG from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, execution of workflows, or approval of AI-generated suggestions.

8. Data Privacy

Your data is stored and processed in:

• Azure Europe West (Netherlands): Primary data storage
• Azure Sweden: AI/LLM processing

9. Termination

• By You: You may terminate your account at any time
• By Us: We may terminate your account with 30 days' notice, or immediately for violations of these Terms

Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Stuttgart, Germany.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
